ESPINAR LAFUENTE, Francisco. Nació en Almería el 23 de septiembre de 1920. Jurista, profesor y lingüista. Hijo de un militar republicano español. Residió en Marruecos, donde desarrolló parte de su carrera profesional siendo juez. Regresó a España, siendo profesor titular de Derecho Civil en la cátedra “Hernández Gil” de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En 1959 se afilió al Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE). Restablecida la democracia formó parte de las Agrupaciones Socialistas de Buenavista y Fuencarral (Madrid). Masón. El Gran Oriente Español en el exilio nombró a Francisco Espinar como Gran Maestre y creó en México una comisión que tenía como principal misión su inscripción en el registro de asociaciones de España, consiguiendo así su legalización. Después de grandes dificultades administrativas lo consiguió en noviembre de 1979. Entre 1991 y 1994 fue Soberano Gran Comendador del Supremo Consejo del Grado 33. Falleció en Torremolinos (Málaga) el 25 de octubre de 2007.[18]
