CORPS MORALEDA, Manuel. Integrante del maquis en el Haute Savoie (Francia). A finales de enero de 1944 todos los guerrilleros españoles de la zona, unos 60 hombres, subieron al Plateau des Glières, formando la Sección “Ebro”, al mando de Antonio Vilches. Durante más de un mes, los maquisars allí concentrados  hicieron frente a los ataques de los fascistas franceses y alemanes. Ante la imposibilidad de seguir resistiendo, el 26 de marzo los guerrilleros decidieron retirarse. Manuel Corps Moraleda fue uno de los guerrilleros españoles muertos durante los combates. Según Sixto Agudo, sus cadáveres fueron trasladados después de la liberación al Cementerio Militar Nacional de Morette, cerca de Thornes, al pie de la meseta. [7]
